By David Salazar

Madison Lyric Stage is set to hold its season fundraiser on April 7 at 7 p.m. at the Deacon John Grave House.

The event will feature food, drinks, and entertainment. There will also be a silent auction that will feature apartment stays, private dinners, original watercolor paintings, and theater tickets, among other things.

The company’s cast members will also preview the upcoming season, which will include music from “Company,” “Godspell,” “The Turn of the Screw,” and “Agnes of God.”

“We are so thrilled to be presenting two of our 2018 productions on the grounds of the Deacon John Grave House and couldn’t think of a better way to introduce the House to our supporters than by holding our season fundraiser here,” the company’s artistic director Marc Deaton said in a press release. “We’ve found that many people have never been inside the House, so this is a great opportunity to support live theater in Madison and tour this Shoreline treasure at the same time.”

“Agnes of God” hits the stage in April, while “Company” comes in July. In between, audiences will check out “Godspell” in May. “The Turn of the Screw gets a showcase in October.
