Latonia Moore, Mario Chang & Adrian Timpau To Be Featured In The Metropolitan Opera’s 2018 Summer Recital Series

The 2018 Metropolitan Opera has announced its 2018 Summer Recital Series.

The company will once again bring free outdoor showcases, featuring rising young stars of the opera world to New Yorkers in all five boroughs.

The series kicks off on June 11, 2018 at 8 p.m. at Central Park SummerStage and June 13, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Brooklyn Bridge Park, with soprano Latonia Moore, tenor Mario Chang, and baritone Joshua Hopkins. They will be joined by pianist Dan Saunders.

Then, four additional recitals with Saunders at the piano will feature soprano Gabriella Reyes de Ramírez, tenor Gerard Schneider, and baritone Adrian Timpau. These recitals will take place on Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Cloves Lakes Park, Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Williamsbridge Oval, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in Jackie Robinson Park, and Friday, June 29, 2018 in Socrates Sculpture Park.
