On March 6, 2018, Joyce DiDonato will be featured alongside Itzhak Perlman on the PBS hour-long special, “Mister Rogers ‘It’s You I Like.'”

The special will feature interviews with the mezzo-soprano and the violinist as they discuss their favorite memories from the iconic show.

DiDonato is currently performing Jake Heggie’s “Dead Man Walking” in Madrid and takes the work to London before taking on the title role of “Cendrillon” at the Metropolitan Opera. She continues her tour of “In War and Peace” and next season takes on the title role of Handel’s “Agrippina.”

“Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” remains the longest-running children’s series that is still broadcasted on several PBS stations today. The program has aired nearly 900 episodes over the course of fifty years since its premiere.
