‘Il Viaggio a Reims’ With Juan Diego Flórez Announces Cast
By Francisco SalazarThe cast of “Il Viaggio a Reims” with Juan Diego Flórez and friends has been announced.
The concert performance is set to star Spanish singers Ruth Iniesta as Corinna, Marina Monzó as Contessa di Folleville, Carmen Romeu as Madama Cortese, and Xabier Anduaga as Cavalier Belfiore. Juan Diego Flórez will sing the role of Conte di Libenskof while Anna Goryachova will sing the role of Marchesa Melibea.
The rest of the cast will also include Simone Alberghini, Roberto Lorenzi, Paolo Bordogna, Gurgen Baveya, Daniele Antonangeli, Óscar Oré, Laura Olivia Spengel, Lorika Ismajli Hainzl, Stefano Marchisio, Walter Auer, and Robert Palfrader.
The concert will take place at the Musikverein in Vienna on June 16, 2018. The concert is a charity concert in favor of the Sinfonia por el Peru. Christopher Franklin conducts the Filharmonia Gioachino Rossini Orchestra.
