The Richard Tucker shall be streamed on medici.tv this Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018 free of charge.

The broadcast will also be available on Facebook and via WQXR for audience in New York.

This year’s concert will center on bass Christian Van Horn, who won the Richard Tucker Award. He is set to perform in Boito’s “Mefistofele” at the Metropolitan Opera in November and recently talked to OperaWire about appearing in the gala.

“It’s humbling. I can’t wait to sing the concert and it’s a tremendous celebration of Richard Tucker himself and the human voice. There are so many great singers in this concert and to be on that list even as a winner is a huge honor,” he stated.

The gala will also feature superstar soprano Anna Netrebko, tenor Yusif Eyvazov, sopranos Nadine Sierra, Christine Goerke, and Angela Meade, as well as mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe. Tenors Michael Fabiano and Javier Camerana will also make appearances, as will baritone Quinn Kelsey.
