Hawaii Opera Theatre’s 2018-19 Season To Feature Quinn Kelsey, Amanda Woodbury & Pene Pati

The Hawaii Opera Theatre has announced its 2018-19 season featuring three opera productions with numerous acclaimed American artists.
The season opens with Gounod’s “Roméo et Juliette,” starring Soprano Amanda Woodbury as Juliet, following her acclaimed performance of the role at The Met. Emmanuel Plasson will conduct the production after his acclaimed “Il Trovatore” in 2016.
Performance Dates: October 12, 14, & 16 2018
     
Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” is the second production of the season with Daniel Okulitch as the Count and Amina Edris as Susanna.
Performance Dates: February 8, 10, & 12, 2019   
Verdi’s tragic opera “La Traviata” closes out the season with Hawaii’s own baritone Quinn Kelsey as Germont and New Zealand’s rising star Pene Pati.
Performance Dates: May 17, 19, 21, 2019
