The Guildhall School of Music & Drama in the U.K. has announced that it will stream a performance of “The Little Green Swallow” this summer.

The opera by Jonathan Dove and Adam Pollock is an adaptation of the Carlo Gozzi fable and will be directed by Martin Lloyd-Evans. The opera first premiered at the Guildhall School back in June 2005.

Audiences can stream the opera between June 24 – July 8, 2021

In addition to “The Little Green Swallow,” the organization has been streaming several operatic projects including “Beginnings: New and Early Opera,” “Introduction to Opera,” and the upcoming “Opera Makers,” which will feature new music written by composers and librettists on Guildhall’s MA in Opera Making & Writing.
