Giuseppe Filianoti Returns To New York For Masterclass

Giuseppe Filianoti returns to New York to give a masterclass.

The Italian tenor will be at the National Opera Center giving a unique masterclass on singing on May 18 at 7 pm.

Filianoti is an international opera singer who has conquered all the great theaters in the world. Recently he performed the title role of Tito in Mozart’s “La Clemenza di Tito” at the Semperoper Dresden. He also performed the role of Cavaradossi in Puccini’s “Tosca’ at the Hamburg Opera as well Giordano’s “Fedora” at the Teatro San Carlo. He has also performed in Verdi’s “La Traviata,” “I Due Foscari,” Simon Boccanegra” and ” La Traviata.”

Filianoti also performed at the Metropolitan Opera in Donizetti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore,” Puccini’s ‘la Rondine” and Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor.” He appeared in the company’s Live in HD  series in Mozart’s ‘La Clemenza di Tito” with Barbara Frittoli, Kate Lindsay and Elina Garanca.
