At Gstaad, Meli will join Gianandrea Noseda, who is conducting and Kristin Lewis (Aida), Anita Rachvelishvili (Amneris), Simone Piazzola (Amonasro), and Erwin Schrott (Ramfis).

Alagna is slated to return to the stage in October in Marseilles before heading to Monaco for “Adriana Lecouvreur.” He returns to the Metropolitan Opera for “Pagliacci” and “Cavalleria Rusticana.”

Meli has a full slate of performances next season. He will return to the Royal Opera House, the Teatro Regio di Torino, Teatro di Firenze and is slated to headline a new production of Verdi’s “Ernani” at the Teatro alla Scala.
