Soprano Elizabeth Caballero has announced that she will be appearing in Puccini’s “La Bohème” on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018.

She will be stepping in for soprano Adrienn Miksch, who was originally billed to sing.

“Yup, it’s been an exciting morning today. Last time I sang Mimì it was on the Met stage. All kinds of feels are rolling in my head/heart today,” the soprano stated on her social media platforms.

In early March, Caballero was also called in to perform the role of “Mimì” at the Metropolitan Opera in the place of Sonya Yoncheva who was ill.

““It was really magical. Until I took my curtain call, it didn’t hit me that I was performing on the Met Stage. It really hit me,” she told OperaWire in an interview.

The performance for Florida Grand Opera will also star Alessandro Scotto di Luzio, Trevor Scheunemann, and Jessica E. Jones with Ramón Tebar conducting.
