Diana Damrau and Vittorio Grigolo are major favorites right now in the opera world, the two joining forces for a beloved run of “Roméo et Juliette” in New York this past winter before continuing their run of strong performances together in Los Angeles Opera’s production of “Les Contes d’Hoffmann.”

Now the duo will give fans more reasons to love them as they sign CDs after their performance on Sunday, April 9.

The soprano has been releasing DVD’s left and right this year with her company Erato releasing a video of the soprano’s turn in “Europa Riconosciuta” and “Les Pecheurs de Perles” a few months ago. She is also slated to release a new album dedicated to the work of Meyerbeer later this year with Emmanuel Villaume conducting.

Grigolo has not released an album since 2014 when his “The Romantic Tenor,” an album dedicated to French opera, hit the market.

The duo has just three more performances remaining of “Les Contes d’Hoffmann.” The show on Thursday, April 6 will feature conductor Grant Gershon taking over from Plácido Domingo for one night. The run comes to an end on Saturday, April 15.

After LA, Damrau heads to Frutlillar, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo for a series of concerts before returning to New York for the Met’s 50^th Anniversary Gala concert. Grigolo has a concert in Santa Monica before taking on the Duke in “Rigoletto” in Paris.
