Central City Opera Announces New Board Members

Central City Opera has announced the election of four new members of the board of directors.

General and Artistic Director Pelham Pearce said in a statement, “It will be an honor to work with such an esteemed group of leaders, as these individuals are a testament to Central City Opera’s strong impact on the community. I look forward to working with each one of them as we continue to enrich the artistic fabric of Colorado and the nation.”

The new members are Judith W. Grant, Chairman of the Board, a retired middle school/high school English Teacher, Roopesh Aggarwal, President and Managing Director at Ankura Consulting Group, and Dr. Gregg Kvistad, Treasurer, the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, where he has served the University of Denver as a professor and administrator for more than two decades.  The final new member is Michael Huseby, Secretary, who has been part of the Central City Opera Board of Directors since 1995.

This season the company celebrates its 86th anniversary and will present “The Magic Flute” and “Il Trovatore.”
