The box set is also a chance for audiences to revisit Gheroghiu’s first five recitals currently out of print.

The company will also re-release Gherghiu’s “Live from the Covent Garden” in a separate edition. The 2001 CD features music from  Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” and Cilea’s “Adriana Lecouvreur.”

Lawo Classics will release Kielland’s new album entitled “Whispering Mozart.” The album features 21 rare songs for mezzo-soprano. The Norwegian mezzo is accompanied by Nils Anders Mortensen on piano. The recording marks Kielland’s sixth recording with Lawo Classics.
