Two new CDs and DVDs will be released this week. The first is a world premiere recording from one of last year’s biggest hits and another of an acclaimed new production of one of Mozart’s masterpieces. Here is a look!

The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs 

Mason Bates and Mark Campbell’s “The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs” gets its world premiere recording from the Santa Fe Opera where it made its world premiere. The recording stars Edward Parks and Sasha Cooke and is conducted by Michael Christie. Pentatone releases.

La Clemenza di Tito 

Claus Guth’s production of Mozart’s “La Clemenza di Tito” gets a release from the Glyndebourne Festival. The cast includes Richard Croft, Anna Stephany, Alice Coote, and Michele Losier. Robin Ticciati conducts the acclaimed production. Opus Arte release.
