Bayerische Staatsoper 2017-18 Live Stream: Jonas Kaufmann Leads Starry Cast in ‘Parsifal’

The Bayerische Staatsoper will live stream its new production of Wagner’s “Parsifal” on Sunday, July 8, 2018.

The production, directed by Pierre Audi, will be led by Music director Kirill Petrenko and star Jonas Kaufmann, Christian Gerhaher, René Pape, Wolfgang Koch, and Nina Stemme.

The stream kicks off at 5 p.m. local time. That’s around 12 p.m. EDT and 9 a.m. PST for the start time.

This is the last performance of the run, which is completely sold out, before a revival at the end of the month on July 31.

The company provides live streams throughout the season, starting with “Le Nozze di Figaro” on Oct. 28, 2018. Other live streams included “Il Trittico,” “Die Walküre,” “Les Vêpres Siciliennes,” and “From the House of the Dead.”
