Over the past few years Yusif Eyvazov’s star has been in ascension. Since his breakout in 2014, when he performed “Manon Lescaut” with Anna Netrebko at the Teatro dell’opera di Roma, the tenor has debuted in many of the greatest theaters. However, this week he will headline his biggest assignment yet.

The tenor will be joined by Netrebko and Luca Salsi in a production by Mario Martone. Riccardo Chailly, who has praised Eyvazov for his vocal quality, will conduct the opera.

In recent years Eyvazov has made debuts at the Salzburg Festival, Vienna State Opera, the Metropolitan Opera, Bolshoi Theatre, Mariinsky Theatre, Baden Baden Festival. He has also performed at the LA Opera, Berlin State Opera and Paris Opera.
