Anna Netrebko’s Australian Debut Changed To Earlier Date

By Francisco Salazar

Frontier Touring has announced a modification in the date and venue of the Melbourne concert for the Australian debut tour of soprano Anna Netrebko and tenor Yusif Eyvazov.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Plenary, the Melbourne performance will now take place on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall.

The change of venue was in response to fans lobbying to experience the superstar couple in a traditional, acoustic concert setting on their debut tour of Australia.

Hamer Hall will provide Australian fans a heightened experience in line with what audience members would hear at Anna and Yusif’s sold-out performances in renowned opera houses around the world.

Those who bought tickets for the originally scheduled Oct. 21 concert will have their passes transferred to the new date and venue and will be contacted directly by Ticketmaster with further details.

The Sydney performance on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Sydney Opera House remains unchanged.
