Anna Netrebko And Yusif Eyvazov To Sign Album Copies

Salzburg Festival audiences will get an advanced release of Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov’s new album “Romanza.”

On August 14, the couple will sign their new CD at the Musik Jathlnigg at 1 p.m. local time. “Romanza” marks the first crossover album for Netrebko and her second duet album for Deutsche Grammophon. The set includes new songs by Igor Krutoy, who composed specifically for their voices.

Netrebko and Eyvazov are currently in Salzburg performing Verdi’s “Aida.” Netrebko headlines the first cast which also stars Francesco Meli while Eyvazov headlines the second cast scheduled to perform on August 22 and 25.

The couple is next scheduled to appear together at the Walbuhne before going on their second Asian tour. They will also perform in Australia before heading over to the Teatro alla Scala where they will headline opening night in a new production of Giordano’s “Andrea Chénier.” Netrebko and Eyvazov also headline a new production of “Adriana Lecouvreur” at the Baden Baden Festival.

“Romanza” is due out on Sept. 1, 2017.
