Aleksandra Kurzak and Roberto Alagna have released a new single.

The two artists announced that Deutsche Grammophon has released a new single entitled “Deliverance” featuring the two artists. The duet is a new version of the song “Liberta.”

The single comes the same week that Alagna and Kurzak are scheduled to release their first CD for Sony Classical entitled “Puccini in Love.” It also comes a week after the release of the couple’s new recording of “La Navarraise” for Erato.

Kurzak is currently performing “La Traviata” at the Opéra National de Paris and is scheduled to perform the role of Micaëla in “Carmen” at the Metropolitan Opera. The soprano will also make her role debut as Cio-Cio San in “Madama Butterfly” at the Teatro di San Carlo.

Alagna is also scheduled for the same “Carmen” production at the met and will reunite with Kurzak for a production of Verdi’s “Otello” at the Opera National de Paris. The couple will also perform “Luisa Miller” at the Opera de Monte Carlo.
