Ailyn Pérez Crashes Anthony Roth Costanzo & The Greene Space’s ‘Opera Party’ On Monday

The Greene Space is throwing on an opera party on Monday, May 15, 2017.

The event which will be in a cabaret-style environment will showcase a new way to celebrate opera.

According to The Greene Space’s official website, “Opera stars will share the evening with chefs, raconteurs and genre-busting artists in a striking environment created for each event by artist Doug Fitch.”

This event is the second in a three-part series that is hosted by countertenor Anthony Roth Costanza. It will feature soprano Ailyn Pérez with Chef Antoine Westermann of Le Coq Rico. The event will also be co-hosted by Justin Sayre. The event kicks off at 7 p.m. EDT and lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes.

Roth Costanzo is one of the most famous countertenors in the world as he has performed with the Metropolitan Opera, the San Francisco Opera, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the English National Opera, the Teatro Real in Madrid, Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center and even in the Merchant Ivory film “A Soldier’s Daughter Never Cries.”

Pérez is an internationally renowned soprano who has showcased her talents with such companies as the Metropolitan Opera, Opernhaus Zurich, Hamburg State Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, San Francisco Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, Wiener Staatsoper, Washington National Opera, and La Scala among many others.
